Abstract

PEREZ PEREZ, Feliza et al. Curricular strategies implementation in the first year of the Nursing Degree. Medisur [online]. 2021, vol.19, n.2, pp.311-317.  Epub Apr 30, 2021. ISSN 1727-897X.

Background: In the design of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, several interdisciplinary curricular strategies have been established, for consolidating their preparation as future professionals.

Objective: Analyze the implementation of curricular strategies in the first year of the Nursing Degree.

Method: A descriptive, retrospective study was carried out taking into account the school years 2017 - 2018 and 2018 - 2019. A participant observation guide was applied during the control visits to the educational teaching process, from class to education at work; as well as in the collective meeting of the year. Fundamental results: Taking into account the functions of the year group and its coordinating role between disciplines, actions were drawn for their implementation based on the subjects that this year of training comprises. Conclusion: The curricular strategy as a particular way of developing the teaching-learning process was characterized by an interrelation between the contents and the theoretical and practical methods corresponding to the study plan, which contributes to a competent future professional formation.
