Nursing as a science has its own laws, theories and models, principles and object of study that are implicit in the scientific method of the profession. A relevant aspect is Nursing Theories, since they are related to the different forms that the nurse adopts in care. The main objective of this research is to analyze the influence of the Nola Pender and Patricia Benner's theories and models and their connection with the skin cancer prevention. The analysis carried out allowed the elaboration of a representative figure where the influence and connection between these theories and the prevention of skin cancer is evident, which has a significant role in the Nursing professional's training, their relationship with the social environment and the way health professional' s action that our training model aspires to in terms of society.
