The Chronic Kidney Disease between another non communicable and chronic disease, is a public health problem that needs a public health action plan. In this article have been analized the definition, classification and the risk progression factors for Chronic Kidney Disease. In this case, have been emphasized the necessity for a systematic approach to execute changes in the care of patients with a kidney disease and the multidisciplinary management of those patients by different physicians in order to stop the epidemic. Finally, It have been determined the strengths for the Cuban health system and its possibilites to make an early detection of Chronic Kidney Disease, and have been recommended an appropriate intervention to restrain and improve the present outcomes.
