We carried out the present revision due to international controversies regarding the surgical techniques, their modifications, their limitations and benefits, modernizing and in good measure to insist that some surgery variety in some Temporomandibular Disorders is used whenever it is justified clinically. International literature sample encouraging results in a general way is which was mentioned technique or even the combination in certain cases, using satisfactory auxiliary resources of diagnosis (Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Artrography among other) and a systematic evaluation of cases corroborating perpetuity or inconstancy of the obtained results. In our country these services have not been diversified that are made unquestionably necessary in certain Temporomandibular Disorders, that which would put up a redundant element that would make more integral our attendance in these cases.
