Abstract

Introduction: violence, as a historical event, is related to conditions and processes, and establishes specific procedures and different situations. Objective: characterize social and ethical aspects of medicolegal procedures in violence, as a health problem. Methodology: theorical and empirical methods are used, relating to ethical aspects during the medicolegal practice. Results: it´s known the legal medical doctors, in their own practice, are characterized by an ethical behavior, as a testifier, a certificator and a skilful. Respecting rules, speaking carefully, having good expressions, being heedfully and respecting dignity must be characterized this doctors if a person alive is attended. Besides, all rules must be performed with all respect, during while medicolegal procedures with bodies. Conclusions: violence, as a health problem, carries medicolegal procedures, both on persons and bodies, generating some relations, with their proper basis and characteristics. Ethical principles, specifically cuban ethical principles, are identified.
