The informal audiovisual consumption in Cuba, and the explosion of Information and Communication Technologies, are constantly growing in various Cuban social spaces. The influence of the social cultural phenomenon " el Paquete "was examined, through a random exploration carried out with small groups of different age Phases, as an curricular application to the subject Sociology of Education. It was determined that: this phenomenon coexists in an underlying way to the educational process in schools; there is a high product consumption; it is a issue pending of analysis in the self-preparation of the teaching staff and the uncertainty prevails in the teachers about how to correlate the phenomenon with the school.
