The need to prepare a competent teacher for work in Primary Education, with an emphasis on multigrade teaching, requires specialized attention to the treatment of skills, in correspondence with the demands of Cuban society and the demands of current educational transformations. Starting from the insufficiencies revealed by the empirical methods and applied techniques, specific actions are proposed taking into account the theoretical-learning process for multigrade education and the ways for its implementation in practice. All of this with the objective to contribute to the initial and permanent preparation of Primary Education professionals in this context of action.
