The accelerated degeneration of the planet is gaining ground, leaving no respite for public education policy to sustain at the same time proposals that allow, from its role, to minimize such negative impacts on Mother Earth through environmental education. National and international organizations and educational systems play an indispensable role in this projection and it is then when the need for dialogue in the construction and deconstruction of curricula comes into play. In this direction, work has been done on the concept of Regenerative Schools, but regardless of the fact that the proposal has not permeated the educational systems of the region, there is little research on the systematization of this educational proposal. This theoretical-conceptual article, based on hermeneutics, historical-logical analysis and documentary analysis, aims to conceptualize the constructs associated with regenerative environmental education, as part of a research project for the National University of Education of Ecuador (UNAE)
