Housing is one of the most important expressions of culture and one of the elements representing the degree of development of the process of social production of habitat. Across Africa with soil building traditions exist, variant results demonstrated by its low cost and low environmental pollution, however the correct no constructive use of ancestral experience and inadequate selection of settlements and the non-use of alternative materials native has made a practice with proven results, not intensively exploited. In this paper we present characterization of the housing system in the province of Uige in Angola, and their main problems from a technical standpoint-making constructive, an assessment is made of the major damage.
