Several methods are used to evaluate teaching and this research examined a variety of criteria with artistic expression to better understand the teaching of drawing in technical fields. The experiment took place among four academic majors in the Electrical Engineering School at the Instituto Superior Politécnico "José Antonio Echeverría. This approach to evaluating the teaching of drawing can be applied to other fields in the teaching community. The paper presents examples derived from the exercise.
