This work presents a simulation of the operation of a microgrid of Diesel Generating Group in the Moa and Sagua of Tanamo municipalities (Holguin, Cuba) in some exceptional situation. The method proposed starts with the characterization of local electric power system and the foundation of the Diesel Generating Group in ISLA regimen. A study of the electric energy request behavior was make with the Microsoft Excel. It is evaluated the operation form of the microgrid for the day where the maximum absolute value of electric energy request was attained in the month with its greater value, as if it act in any exceptional situation moment disconnected of the national electric system. A procedure for the making decision on the operation of the microgrid facing exceptional situation is proposed and it is a simulation comes true utilizing programming linear method.
