GUERRA HERNANDEZ, Lázaro; MARTINEZ GARCIA, Antonio; VILARAGUT LLANES, Miriam e TORRES BREFFE, Orlys E.. Errors in frequency behavior with concentrated models in Cuban Electric Power System. Energética [online]. 2016, vol.37, n.3, pp.186-194. ISSN 1815-5901.
Evaluation of frequency behavior errors under disturbance conditions of an electrical power system is essential in order to obtain reliable settings of DAF schemes. Models based in concentrated systems cannot evaluate the influence of local and inter areas oscillations of frequency which are important in the reliable setting of DAF systems. An evaluation of these errors in future Cuban Electric Power System is the main objective of this paper. In this work is taken as a basis for calculating the prospective scenario of the Cuban Power System with the inclusion of two combined cycle and considering the effect of the nonlinear load representing both steelworks arc as randomness of the load due to wind turbines turbulence. It concludes with the values of df / dt measured load nodes and the frequency drop at these nodes are kept lower than the measured values generators nodes.
