Substation grounding systems require ongoing evaluation due mainly to the aging of ground grid and corrosion problems. The conditions to turn off the power substation is increasingly difficult, grew the need to find alternative viable measurements, giving preference to the methods of measuring energized substations. Sporadically, a company aims to develop measurement techniques with energized facilities, encountering, however, obstacles that compromise the quality of the test results, so this work aims to propose a suitable equipment to perform measurements Grounding System Substation Xitoto energized. To carry out the measurement of put the land system, proposing the Metro de Digital Terras AEMC Modelo 4500, with which one can determine the total resistance of the network, put the mesh and the resistivity of the earth.
