The problem of energy and energy saving, today becomes a very important problem to take into account in the world. The sources of energy are finite, and therefore, its correct use is presented as a necessity of the present, so that we can enjoy them in the future. To practice a responsible and intelligent consumption of the energy we consume is everyone's job. For all these reasons, today, energy saving and energy efficiency are indispensable. In this article it is exposed the role that maintenance can and should play in these aspects, wich becomes the reason for this investigation. It is exposed in detail the role of energetic auditory to analize energy consumption and also the methodology to evaluate the energetic efficiency on the industrial equipment’s.
