At present there is a tendency to integrate fixed and mobile networks and services because several advantages that integration provides like operational costs reduction and creation of more attractive services packages. These reasons in addition that platform, responsible to provide Intelligent Network (IN) services, has started crucial obsolescence stages and that a new platform acquisition is very expensive, had motivated Etecsa specialists to expose the possibility to incorporate intelligent network services to the Ericsson Online Charging System (OCS), system in charge to carry out prepaid services collect of mobile network, making good use of its flexibility and capacity to interact with multiple nodes, not only in the mobile world, but also in fixed network and data services. In this Project a general architecture is suggested, which covers intelligent networks functionalities that must realize all of the elements that made it up. Two alternatives are proposed to perform the functions of the Switch of Services, this alternatives use NGN and IMS technologies present in Etecsa network. Finally one of the design alternative is selected as the proposal of commercial integration of Etecsa intelligent network services.
