Abstract

In general terms, the quality of the software as of other products, is an element of increasing importance worldwide and it is strongly linked to its obtaining process. This work presents a proposal of a software testing process for a Quality Laboratory, integrated into an academic environment. The activities of the main processes and the output artifacts were detailed, as well as the testing levels applied, among other elements of interest. It was also showed a practical experience related to the process implementation and the results of several study cases. This proposal includes the definition of the methodological issues and the selection of the tools for the process automation.
