The investigation is motivated by the necessity of a general definition of the collaborative planning´s elements in the supply chain and a required method of determining their application grade. Therefore, the present work has as objective to design an evaluation tool of the collaborative planning level in the supply chain. It is carried out a bibliographical review of the term collaborative planning in supply chain. It is defined the elements that conform it through the analysis and synthesis of several authors. The proposed tool allows identifying its weaknesses and strengths for the improvement of the network performance by means of a philosophy of collaboration.
