Abstract

MEJIA-GIRALDO, Armando; MENDIETA-CARDONA, Claudia Patricia  and  BRAVO-CASTILLO, Mario. Strategies of innovation and social capital in the small and medium enterprises. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2015, vol.36, n.3, pp. 286-296. ISSN 1815-5936.

This paper focuses on the impact of the combination of factors of innovation and social capital in the productivity and competitiveness of small and medium enterprise - SMEs; exploratory studies is supported by its competitive development is due, among other things, human and intellectual resources, and to type of relations established between the agents of the economic system, which justifies the conclusion that hardly advance in the incorporation of knowledge to generate innovations in their products or services if they do not from a shared environment and as part of a consolidation of social relations in which it is immersed, an aspect corroborated with the findings and concludes that there are low levels of innovation and social capital so that actions that contribute to improving innovation processes and associativity of the firms proposed.
