Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the contribution of organizational learning in product innovation as a strategy for competitive advantage in Pymes in the meat sector in the city of Cali. Is taken as theoretical framework the theory of resources and capabilities of the company, the focus of organizational learning theory and new product development. Methodologically exploratory qualitative study was conducted using the review and analysis of literature. The results indicate that the capabilities that represent a dynamic relationship between product innovation and organizational learning are technological capabilities, market capacity and new capabilities. The results lead to increased knowledge about the functions, processes, product innovation and management activities that will be used for the development of organizational learning in a form suitable for achieving the objectives of the Pyme
