The objective of the article is to analyze the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by teachers of a higher education institution in Neiva. The methodology used in the research is mixed: the usability and difficulties of ICT in teachers are identified through a survey and then a statistical analysis is made where the usability and difficulties presented by these teachers is identified. The analysis carried out allows us to verify that teachers before the COVID -19 presented difficulties with the use of collaborative tools for a virtual connection, because they were not used frequently. The conclusions of the study provide information to generate a current analysis after the pandemic.
