VELASQUEZ FORTTY, Gabriel Fernando; BURBANO MERA, Luzmila Elizabeth y PERERO ESPINOZA, Galo Arturo. Standardization of the production process of Caramel Spread production process in a dairy agro-industrial workshop. Ing. Ind. [online]. 2024, vol.45, n.2, pp. 3-16. Epub 22-Feb-2025. ISSN 1815-5936.
The standardization of processes is a fundamental strategy for the success of companies, since it allows a series of successive operations to be regulated and areas to be improved. The main objective of this research is to improve efficiency and performance in the production of caramel spread through the standardization of operations. This research is based on a theoretical approach that begins with the description of the caramel spread production process, followed by a critical analysis. Subsequently, improvement strategies were established to optimize said process, reducing total production time by 10.31%. The standardization of operations in the production of caramel spread proved to be an effective strategy to reduce production time, benefiting both workers and the overall efficiency of the process.
