Abstract

It was analyzed by finite element method Screw Intrapedicular Fusion 6.3 mm and the Prisoner, designed and manufactured by CALVENT-Medicalas part of a package called screw - catch - tulip - prisoner for attachment of the spine. Loads the criterion of Von Mises, produce the onset of permanent plastic deformation in the area of the Prisoner neck torsional loads on the head, then with a nonlinear elasto plastic analysis was determined by linear static analysis, estimated the load required to cause rupture. Equivalently were estimated Screw Intrapedicular linear static analysis axial loads, bending and torsion producing creep, where also a dynamic analysis is incorporated to determine the fatigue life thereof, estimating the alternating critical loads that initiate endless life.
