To can identify way the most distribution used in the assess maintenance from the Thom parameters to using for estimate the gamma distribution parameters was the target of this research. The dates used to comprise several time of repair between 2009 and 2015 years that represent the normal, exponential and gamma distribution.99,92 percent of coincident was obtained for exponential distribution and 95percent for normal distribution. For Weibull distribution on showed that approach Thom method is indeed valid forestimate Weibull distribution and the parameter of this distribution can be use as the Weibull distribution with error of 3 %. To validate this study on compare the results with the obtained results for the several well-known methods including Statgraphic
