ORTIZ LAHERA, Alexis e GONZALEZ ALBIZA, Jaime. Behavior analysis of structure ceramic/aluminum during the impact of the projectile 7,62 mm. Ingeniería Mecánica [online]. 2024, vol.27, n.3, pp. 19-27. Epub 24-Mar-2025. ISSN 1815-5944.
Was analyzed the behavior the ballistics effects on shielded structures formed by alumina ceramic tiles CC-01 with back squab an aluminum plate AA 6061 and a witness plate aluminum AA 1065. The structures were tested with real shot and with the realization computational simulations from the selection the constitutive models Johnson - Cook and Johnson - Holmquist; as well as the selection of the dimensional values from corresponding finite element methods to the combined discretization Lagrange Euler ALE and the Smoothed particle hydrodynamics SPH. The experimentation included the analysis the mechanical answer the alumina ceramic tile CC-01 with 12 mm of thickness, impacted for 7,62 mm calibrate projectile and compound by a bimetallic jacket steel/brass, a leaden stuffing and a nucleus steel ASTM 1015. The combination of two alumina ceramic tiles CC-01 with back squab an aluminum plate AA 6061 with 6,35 mm thickness, was able to retain the projectile 7,62 mm at 700 ms-1 velocity.
