Resumen
MOJICAR CABALLERO, Segismundo et al. Maintenance solutions for upper limb exoskeleton in shoulder physiotherapy treatment. Ingeniería Mecánica [online]. 2024, vol.27, n.3, pp. 28-38. Epub 24-Mar-2024. ISSN 1815-5944.
In this work, it is made a study for the definition of maintenance tasks in recently designed and manufactured equipment. It is focused in an upper limb exoskeleton designed and built in Cuba for the physiotherapeutic treatment of painful shoulder in hemiplegic patients and adhesive capsulitis. Being the only equipment of its kind in the country and the scarce literature on the maintenance of such equipment, a Reliability Centered Maintenance approach is used for the definition of prophylactic maintenance tasks, also the main and accessory functions were determined, as well as the main potential failures and their solutions. It was possible to establish a set of preventive actions for each of these failures, ensuring technical availability during the evaluation period in a demanding environment, in real operating conditions without interruptions, such as physiotherapeutic rehabilitation. These maintenance tasks can be generalized to other robotic platforms that work under the same principles in rehabilitation rooms.
Palabras clave : Reliability Centered Maintenance; failure analysis; exoskeleton.
