Abstract

RODRIGUEZ GOMEZ, Grisell  and  DUJARRIC BERMUDEZ, Gabriela María. Fertility in Havana. Rev Nov Pob [online]. 2017, vol.13, n.25, pp.72-80. ISSN 1817-4078.

To analyze fertility from its level, structure and differentials, gives a look pretty general of this variable and also it shows that its behavior in Havana is similar than in Cuba. Using ONEI data is possible to explain a part of the demographic changes that experiment the population of Havana related to this variable. The results show that between 2011-2015 fertility levels in the province are still the lowest in the country although the analysis from its municipalities evidences important heterogeneity.

Keywords : differential; fertility; Havana; level; structure.
