There are only a few population researches of the Mexican settlements located by the coasts of the Pacific Ocean. The goal of the article is to contribute know the dynamics of the demographic characteristics related to the population structure in 3 important harbour cities located in Mexican Pacific Basin: Ensenada, located in Baja California State; Manzanillo located in Colima State; y Salina Cruz, in Oaxaca State. It is evaluated the behaviour of the age structure, the masculinity relation, the spatial distribution of the population, proportion and distribution of the emigrants, the average of educational levels, illiteracy level of the population older than 15 years and by sex. Also, it is evaluated the Economically Active Population and Non Economically Active Population, which allows to explain the current social problems, with a temporary spatial approach that facilitates to understand the relation between population and territory.
