NARANJO SANCHEZ, Wilder Virgilio y ECHEVARRIA LEON, Dayma. Vulnerability, work and women in terms of social protection: lessons for post-pandemic times in Cuba. Rev Nov Pob [online]. 2020, vol.16, n.32, pp. 1-22. Epub 31-Mar-2021. ISSN 1817-4078.
In keeping with the analytical turn that social protection systems have undergone in the last two decades, this article examines the role of work within welfare-producing spheres and its possible effects, on women who experience in one way or another situations of exclusion. For this endeavor, the current post-pandemic context in Cuba is taken as a reference, in order to offer specific keys towards strengthening its social protection architecture. In this direction, the main scenarios that may be threats to the equity pillars are identified, while offering some considerations for their intervention.
