HIDALGO GOMEZ, Arelis. Methodology for community environmental management. Rev Nov Pob [online]. 2021, vol.17, n.34, pp. 428-447.  Epub 01-Dez-2021. ISSN 1817-4078.

At present the field of environmental management and its control impose new challenges, this includes actions from and for society. The concrete participation and discussion to find collective solutions to problems such as: the high degradation of soils, forest fires, the uncontrolled exploitation of resources such as water and energy, liquid waste when being dumped crude into ditches, rivers, ravines in some areas, among others, make possible the contamination of the environment. These elements favor the transmission of diseases for the inhabitants, which is why it is necessary to apply a methodology for community environmental management, which contributes to environmental quality and the transformation of environments. The implementation of adequate community environmental management, as a high priority in its application, allows, together with the increase in disasters caused by climate and meteorological change, to resolve these deficiencies in an interactive process that is consistently taxed with procedures, monitoring tools and gets better. The application of this methodology, together with the potential offered by the active participation of all the subjects naturally involved, will be decisive to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants, based on the available resources.
