The expansion and impact of information technologies requires referring to social inequalities. The term digital divide has been coined to these, a theme scarcely addressed within social research in Cuba. From this perspective, it has become a new topic for Sociology with the insertion of the technological variable. From this, a study was carried out aimed at analyzing the conditions that affected the access and use of technologies among a group of young people aged 15 to 34 in the province of Havana. Qualitative and quantitative perspectives were integrated, with the aim of obtaining a more holistic view. A series of social, economic, technological and cognitive dimensions resulted that are summarized in the material and non-material gaps.
