In the province of Granma, the social problem of adolescent fertility has been identified for decades and work has been done on action programs to reduce adolescent pregnancy, however, no reduction in the level of adolescent fertility has been observed. The purpose of this research was to describe the behavior of selected indicators on adolescent fertility in Granma in the period 2015-2020. The behavior of the proximate determinants of fertility for this age group was determined using the results of the MICS/Cuba 2019 and information provided by Public Health in the province. The particularities of adolescent fertility were determined according to school level, marital status, occupation and the characteristics of adolescent mothers from the use of the Integrated Demographic Consultation System (SICDemo) of the Center for Population and Development Studies of the National Statistics and Information Office (CEPDE-ONEI). An early onset of sexual relations among adolescents in the province was evidenced. It was determined that adolescent fertility rates are higher for adolescents accompanied or united, for those with 0-6 years of schooling, and for those who do household chores.
