Chronic kidney failure is a non-communicable disease in which there is kidney dysfunction that generates a significant number of complications and metabolic disorders, these decrease the functional capacity and the perception of quality of life related to the health of patients. The care of patients with this disease demands comprehensive care; within which nursing care plays a fundamental role. The nursing care process is a necessary tool to offer the highest level of quality in the care received by patients with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis. The objective of the present investigation is to contribute the elements from the pedagogical teaching point of view that guarantee an adequate knowledge of the actions to be carry out during the nursing care of patients with chronic kidney disease.
