MONTESDEOCA BREILH, María Leonor  y  GUERRERO FERRECCIO, Jenny. IMPORTANCE OF PRECLINICAL PREPARATION PRIOR TO THE USE OF SYSTEMS MECHANIZED BY UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS TO AVOID FRACTURES. Conrado [online]. 2018, vol.14, n.61, pp.28-34. ISSN 2519-7320.

During the apprenticeship of the Dental Career, the students must approve the subject of Endodontics, great importance to keep the teeth in the mouth and they did not to arrive an extraction. Unfortunately, the teaching of this area is a bit complex for the undergraduate student since it works in a very small and relatively dark field, which makes difficult the visualization of the canals, added to the number of steps that must be carried out in order to reach its objective. Within this teaching is important impart current concepts, as well as current traditional techniques. The mechanized type technologies are used and it allowed the operator to perform procedures faster and correct, but unfortunately rotary instruments are very expensive systems that can be fractured if there is no previous preclinical training, which will achieve a learning curve in the correct use of them to avoid this unpleasant problem. This preclinical preparation according to the experience of the authors must have some stages before carrying out the procedure in the patient, to reduce the number of errors during the clinical process, mainly the undesirable fracture of the Nickel-Titanium instrument, which are currently used for shaping the root canal. For this reason we describe in the present article a preclinical work dynamics by stages used in the subject of Endodontics of the Dentistry Career of the UCSG to achieve this objective.
