The present article proposes an approach to the study and analysis of the phenomenon of sexual diversity and its manifestation in the students of the University of Pinar del Rio in the current contexts, with the aim of facilitating the processes of inclusion, equality and culture in sexual orientation, Role and gender identity from a process of psychopedagogical orientation mediated by counselors to those in need. The research proposes the preliminary considerations of a strategy making use of scientific methods, extension projects and technologies. The proposal draws attention to the importance of the educational work of the counselors for the educational work in order to contribute to the development of the attitudes and values of the university student community for the improvement of internal life, teaching, research and extracurricular activities during the process of formation of the graduate.
