Theoretical reflection from the sociological - anthropological perspectives of education, based on the approaches of multiculturalism and interculturality. It is part of several studies carried out in the student residence of the Cienfuegos’s University,Cuba center - south, and from this context, the implications of the theoretical deficit in the scientific evaluations of the formative management in the university residence are showing, limiting the scope the educational project as curricular concretion, for the development of more coherent socializing processes. It is concluded that the reduction in the theoretical approach to education allowed the political vision to occupy the first interpretation of the process, expressed in the solidarity action and even when concrete results of importance are shown in terms of the number of graduates, the training process was Limited in deep dialogue, cultural socialization to achieve unity in diversity.
