There are several positive and negative effects that are associated with the use complete removable dentures which vary between patients. Analyze the impact of complete removable dentures in Oral Health-Related Quality of Life on edentulous patients treated at the dental clinic of Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in 2014. This was an analytical and descriptive study performed in 72 edentulous patients attending at the dental clinic of UCSG in 2014 in order to replace their complete dentures or received for the first time a complete removable denture. The validation of statistical data was performed using chi-square test, with a significance level of 0.05 for 95 % confidence. The results showed that the most frequent problems with complete removable dentures were dentures uncomfortable and not fitting properly with a 18.06%, unable to speak clearly in 13.89%. However most of the patients were satisfied with their dentures representing 65% of the total sample. It was demostrated that by replacing missing teeth function and aesthetics required for patients returned, so we were able to verify that complete removable dentures improved the oral health-quality of life of edentulous patients who were treated at the Dental Clinic of Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil during 2014.
