ABSTRACT The accelerated scientific and technological advance passes through the educational field making it assume new challenges of raising the educational level. The Information and Communication Technologies in education provide power, strengthening and transformation in the educational task, at the time that increases, in the teaching practice, the quality of the service. In the present article the technological tools in the use of the TIC in the permanent training of the university professors are exposed, being made an adequate use of the Technologies of the Information and the Communications what will mark great impact in the organization, development and products in the teaching-learning process if one takes into account that the new information and communication technologies have evolved dramatically in recent years, especially due to their capacity for interconnection through the Internet. This new phase of development will have great impact on the organization of teaching and the learning process.
