The debates in the different educational fields, in relation to the epistemological foundations related to the integration of psychology and pedagogy, are manifested incipiently in the different scientific contexts, which are based on the needs and concern of education professionals, in the interest of deepening in the aspects that affect from the psychopedagogical point of view in their educational practice. In the present work, we reflect on the considerations on Psychopedagogy, taking into account the diversity of criteria in relation to the epistemological problems related to this science. From this perspective, the logic of the analysis is aligned with the need to prepare the teacher from the psychopedagogical point of view, to immerse a quality educational process, in his role as counselor and as an agent of change in educational institutions.
