En el estudio se analizan las diferentes tendencias que existen acerca de la renovación curricular que debe existir en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la Educación Superior, mediante la innovación. Lo anterior conlleva a que se desarrollen proyectos de innovación de calidad que transformen y perfeccionen las condiciones laborales del profesorado, mejoren el funcionamiento de la institución universitaria y renueven los sistemas de evaluación del profesorado.

The study analyzes the different trends that exist about the curricular renewal that must exist in the teaching and learning processes of higher education, through innovation. This leads to the development of quality innovation projects that transform and improve the working conditions of the teaching staff, improve the functioning of the university institution and renew the teacher evaluation systems.
