The article titled Text and Spelling is written with the purpose of supporting certain criteria related to the conception that the exercise of the orthographic content possesses; in particular, this activity is dedicated to students who are in the fourth year of study in the country's pedagogical schools. To this end, it was considered appropriate to create the book Orthographic, calligraphic and textual standards; Therefore, the authors of this article show the ideas that served as a theoretical basis to support the experience that consisted in the preparation of chapter II of the previously mentioned book. By creating the conditions that allowed practicing the orthographic rules in order to develop the idiomatic culture and enable the cross-linking of knowledge, the system of learning tasks was designed.
