Community work as a holistic process favors socio-educational transformations in the community context. The objective of this article was to design actions from a system approach for community work of the graduate of the Pedagogy-Psychology career. Its scope is based on offering a guide that favors the planning, execution and evaluation of the impact of community work for the aforementioned specialist. The bibliographic review was used, in order to verify the contribution and problems of community work. It was also applied interviews to graduates of the Pedagogy-Psychology career to verify regularities in the development of work in the community. The designed action contains three phases: diagnosis, planning / execution and control. It also contributes to emphasize from its conception the participatory approach where the social actors are main participants and beneficiaries at the same time. It allows to identify formative potentialities and social problems existing in the community. It involves formal leaders and not, for the expected socio-educational transformation.
