The present investigation approaches the topic of the control where it is proven by means of the diagnosis made in the investigative process of deficiencies that exist, to present the evaluation; also, the sport professors lack tools for the control of the same ones. During the investigation, methods as the analytic-synthetic, inductive-deductive of the theoretical level, the modelation and the systemic-structural-functional are used too. Of the empiric level, the analysis of documents (Program of Preparation of the Sportsman, Plans of training, the control protocols and reports of the checkup of the sportsman's preparation and the technological demands), the mensuration (aerobic resistance type I, aerobic resistance type II, maximum oxygen consumption, effectiveness of the stroke and forms of journey of the distance), the observation, the triangulation, not interviews standardized and the approach of experts, as well as statistical and mathematical methods that are applied to the metro logic’s approaches used. The literature used, as well as the opinion of the experts allowed the establishment of the performance factors, dimensions and indicators that are elements of the proposed pattern for the control of decisive factors of the sport performance that optimizes the taking of decisions in the conduction of the sport training. This work shows the importance of the setting in practice the pattern for the control of the decisive factors of the sport performance in an experimental way. Its validity in the practice corroborated that, when being applied the evaluation to the factors of the swimmers' school, this application performance proved the viability of the pattern, keeping in mind its dependability, feasibility, applicability and relevancy.
