The orientation to the families of students with retarded psychic development (RDP) is a problem in the Special School (E.E.) Pedro Romero Espinosa, that is why the work aims to support a proposal of activities to contribute to the orientation of families of schoolchildren with RDP to stimulate the affective-volitional sphere of the personality of their children. This proposal uses the ways of family orientation and is based on the philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological foundations. During the investigation, different methods such as surveys, interviews and observation were implemented.
