The transformations that have taken place in Vocational Technical Education (ETP) demand the need to include the study of the Mother Tongue in the curriculum of the students of Nursing education. The communicative character requires to systematize the linguistic abilities to speak, read, listen and write, the latter mediated by the correct use of spelling skills. The objective of this article is to prepare an Exercise Booklet to enhance the learning of Spelling in students, based on an adequate initial diagnosis. From the application of different empirical methods were detected difficulties in the spelling learning such as: insufficient knowledge of the spelling rules for its application in practice, the use of punctuation marks in the written expression and knowledge of the technical vocabulary. The brochure is basing on a personalized and systemic approach, including exercises aimed at learning spelling with emphasis on the particularities of the family in training. With the application, it is verifying that the results approach the desired level of learning, when verifying that the current state is transforming if compared with the initial state.
