This article reads about José Marti’s labor as a pedagogue, writer, philosophic, journalist, politician and Cuban revolutionary of the XIX century. Besides, it deals with the main concepts of Education as well as pointing out the most significant contributions to Cuban Pedagogy.

José Marti’s pedagogical ideology was a synthesis and at the same time an upper approach of the Cuban Pedagogy and Ideology founders. The confrontations to vices and society differences, which did not recognize the importance of facing children, young, and men in general to the elements in life are also present in this work.
