Este trabajo analiza los principales retos socioculturales en América Latina y la importancia de la formación axiológica para superarlos. Advierte la necesidad de superar la problemática del analfabetismo, reforzar la educación axiológica en todos los niveles educativos; fortalecer la educación de la familia, mejorar la inversión económica en el sector educativo y trabajar en la recuperación de autoestima del docente, mediante programas integrales que le garanticen una estabilidad económica, laboral y familiar; necesaria para concentrarse en su labor formativa.

This paper analyzes the main socio-cultural challenges in Latin America and the importance of axiological training to overcome them. It warns of the need to overcome the problem of illiteracy, to reinforce axiological education at all educational levels; strengthen family education, to improve economic investment in the education sector and to work on the recovery of teacher self-esteem, through comprehensive programs that guarantee economic, employment and family stability; necessary to concentrate on the formative work.
