The way in which each society produces and teaches the ability to translate or decipher written symbols into oral language is considered a cultural creation from which learning and the development of skills that allow all human beings to satisfy the need to communicate with others. Thus, throughout history, the concern for transmitting the writing and reading system from generation to generation has been entrusted to the school. However, in recent decades, driven by the development of psychology and pedagogy, advocates to expand the participation of all educators in this process. The theoretical and methodological reflections and positions on the subject, focus the analysis of the authors of this work to propose possible alternatives that can specify a project of shared participation and responsibility.
