The modern teaching of the biological sciences involves the construction of striking educational proposals, which involve the student as an active agent of the teaching-learning process. To present a pedagogical proposal for the teaching of subject ecology of populations, of the agroecological engineering program of the University Corporation Minuto de Dios Sede Zipaquirá. For the development of the proposal, a systematic documentary review of documents on the teaching of science, constructivism and praxeology, pedagogical approach of the institution was made. The proposed pedagogical proposal is based on the epistemological principles of constructivism and the methodological bases of problem-based learning, and articulated or with the four phases of the praxeological model.
