Abstract

BAQUERO GALVIS, Dana Ibed  and  CARDENAS GARCIA, Santiago Felipe. Transversal skills, personal and profesional development in teaching through Habilitic platform. Conrado [online]. 2019, vol.15, n.70, pp.421-428.  Epub Dec 02, 2019. ISSN 2519-7320.

Teaching is a task committed to knowledge, because it transforms society through the development of being; therefore, it is necessary to train teachers towards the development of knowledge for transformation, without being reduced to technical or pedagogical performances. It must be based on a holistic, critical and student-centered thinking. Based on these training needs, Habilitic has been created as an interactive tool that identifies the transverse skills of the teacher and classify them in terms of communicative capacity, relationship, time management, teamwork and ICT resource management. Once the skills have been identified and classified, the tool suggests three alternatives to increase or strengthen social interaction and personal balance: the first, to hold workshops to strengthen these skills; the second, to validate the teacher performance; and the third, to propose to the teachers the design of projects based on their strengths.

Keywords : Competences; social interaction; personal development.
