The main objective of the work is to analyze the relevance of the Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Cienfuegos in relation to the curricular design for the new Study Plan E. The factors that directly affect the quality and results of the degree are: explicitly analyzed, enabling the socialization of all accumulated knowledge and experiences. Documentary review, observation, interview, questionnaire design and application, work with experts, as well as descriptive data analysis were tools applied during the study. The results presented constitute a valid reference for the work of career groups who must guarantee and certify the quality of their training process from their relevance as stated in the regulations established in the System of Evaluation and Accreditation of Careers in Cuba.
